Students will review and practice math skills needed as a foundation for success in an Algebra 1 class.
Students will review and practice math skills–focusing on trigonometry–needed as a foundation for success in Pre-Calculus or Calculus classes.
This course will focus on three areas often taught near the end of a high school chemistry course: behavior of gases, acids and bases, and heat transfer in chemical reactions. Each area will be explored using hands-on lab activities and mathematical problem solving will be emphasized.
Microeconomics and Macroeconomics Principles
This course will examine the fundamentals of both macro- and microeconomics, with a focus on the principles and operations of the U.S. economy. The material will provide an understanding of how both national and international economic policy and theory affect individual choices in the world both today and in the future.
