In this week-long camp, students explore and develop science, math, engineering and programming skills through a series of fast-paced and engaging team activities. Students will be tasked, under the guidance of the camp staff, to build, program, test and compete with a VEX IQ robot, based on the upcoming challenge for 20-21.
This camp is led by the Brentwood Academy robotics program, comprised of coaches and students who have made multiple VEXWorld Championship appearances and is the most awarded robotics program in the state. The camp will be limited to students entering fifth grade through eighth grades.
The camp hours will be 9:00 AM – 3:30 PM, at Brentwood Academy. Lunch and snacks will be provided.
A practice tournament will be held on Friday. At that time, parents and guardians are welcome to come in and watch their children compete and see their robots
Campers will get to keep the VEX IQ robot kit from the camp which can be used to start their own VEX IQ team.
