Over the course of a week, Theater Tech Camp will offer a hands-on study of scenic, costume, lighting, and audio design to students interested in the backstage world of the theatre. Students will also be tech crew for the camps' end performance of High School Musical Jr. This TECHNICAL THEATRE program is perfect for rising 5th through 12th grade students.
Study the art of technical theatre with BA’s incredible teaching artist, Shane McConnell, in BA Fine Arts' fully equipped theatre.
Learn the basics of set design, paint, and build to create the visual world that the actors move through. Students will learn the basics of light and sound design and will work jobs in the tech booth and/or backstage during tech rehearsals and performances. There is plenty of opportunity to learn all aspects of Technical Theater.
